For our Bengali wedding invitations, I did a couple of Google searches and priced out different designers. My mom and I agreed on one design that caught both of our eyes. I ordered them early because they had to come from INDIA. But, in my opinion, they were well worth the wait!

Our invitations dictated our red and gold theme. I loved the rich red and the nice gold paper inside. A little monogram doesn’t hurt, either.

This is the full suite, with RSVP card and response envelope. For wording, my parents followed traditional formal wedding wording:

Instead of “Allah,” they used “God,” which was their personal preference. I ordered these invitations from Transcends. They had several Bengali, Muslim, and Hindu designs to choose from and they proved to be quick with their responses. Because they are located in India, I would send them an email with design questions and edits, and they would respond by the morning. It worked very similarly to the invitations I ordered for the June wedding from a local designer. I was astounded at the price of these invitations, which with shipping, cost less than half of prices I was quoted here in the States!
